Back to Yarmouth, as now the Old Gaffer's Festival has finished we can get a table at the hottest place in town, "On The Rocks", for Big John's birthday dinner. Set up by a local potato farmer who was looking to do something other than be shafted by the big supermarkets at every turn, heard from his friends of a place in Tenerife that served food that you cooked at your own table. He found these special volcanic rocks, had them imported and now has a resteraunt where he heats up the rocks in a special oven and serves you with local beef and fish to cook to your liking on a rock at your table. It's a brilliant idea and he is a very nice guy, so nice in fact that Big John and I tired to sign him up for a website on the spot. He hasn't employed my services or that of the fantastic web and ecommerce company I work for (and am top sales man this month - only been there four months!), but he will soon. Oh yes. He will be mine. Anyway a Happy Birthday to Big John, for which Tigger magically produced a candle from her handbag - she always carries some, 'just in case'. Apart from Rolfy and my own dear mother, Tigger is surely the nicest, loveliest creature to walk God's green earth.
